Switchgear automation means using digital control and communication systems (like PLCs, SCADA, or IEC 61850-based systems) to:

1. Industrial Automation

2. Building Management System (BMS)

They can also integrate with other systems, such as BMSs, to optimize energy usage.
4. Cloud Based
Refers to a system or application that is hosted and accessed over the internet, rather than being installed and run on local computers or servers. Cloud-based systems offer scalability, flexibility, and accessibility from anywhere, at any time, using any device with an internet connection. They are often used for data storage, software applications, and analytics, and can be more cost-effective and efficient than traditional on-premises solutions.
